 Edison put the finishing touches on their 11th blowout victory of the season  on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Notre Dame Crusaders  a   12-0 shutout. The  victory was familiar territory for Edison who now have three in a row.
  Mariana Jones-Frosolone made a splash no matter where she played. She  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Jones-Frosolone was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-2.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Rosie Wheeler, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Bri Korsky, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-4.
 Edison's win was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 12-2. As for Notre Dame, they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-7.
 Edison will challenge Fredonia at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Both teams have allowed few  runs on average, (Edison: 1.4, Fredonia: 0.6) so any  runs scored will be well earned. As for Notre Dame, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Elmira at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
