Football Recap: Carlisle Comes Up Short

Carlisle suffered their biggest loss since November 7, 2024 on Friday. They were dealt a 63-14 defeat at the hands of Frankston. Carlisle lost against Frankston in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 42-35 score last time.

Despite the loss, Carlisle still got an impressive performance from Antonio Ibarra, who rushed for 105 yards and a pair of TDs.

Carlisle's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-4. As for Frankston, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Carlisle has already played their next game, a 28-21 defeat against Mildred on the 31st. As for Frankston, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 70-0 victory against Cross Roads on the 31st.
