Softball Recap: Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears vs. Dimond Lynx
Juneau-Douglas had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 11-10-1 to make it four. They lost 12-0 to the Dimond Lynx. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Crimson Bears were not able to get on the board.
Juneau-Douglas saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was June Troxel, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kinsey MacDonald, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and one double. Rachel Whetten was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
Juneau-Douglas wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-0 defeat against Bettye Davis East Anchorage on the 9th. As for Dimond, they have also already played their next matchup, an 8-5 victory against West Anchorage on the 9th.
