After having lost a blowout in their previous game against New Palestine, Knightstown was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Centerville Bulldogs a 4-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Knightstown saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryce Marrow, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Tony Louks also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Knightstown's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Centerville, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

Looking ahead, Knightstown will be playing in front of their home fans against Tri at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Centerville, they will take on Winchester Community at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Golden Falcons have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
