Soccer Game Preview: Taylor vs. Crescent City

The Taylor Wildcats and the Crescent City Raiders will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Taylor is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Pine Ridge onto the board and left with a 6-0 win on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Porfirio Carbajal as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, Crescent City won against Interlachen on Tuesday with six goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Thursday. Everything went Crescent City's way against Umatilla as Crescent City made off with a 6-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won six contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Crescent City's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four matches. As for Taylor, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6-2.
