Basketball Recap: Arise Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Arise, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 36-26 win over the Impact Academy of Arts & Technology Spartans on Friday.

Impact Academy of Arts & Technology lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Marcus Batalon, who posted ten points and six rebounds.

The victory got Arise back to even at 1-1. As for Impact Academy of Arts & Technology, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Madison Park Academy the next time they take the court. Impact Academy of Arts & Technology will host Madison Park Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Arise will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 21, 2025.
