Softball Game Preview: Lake View Chiefs/Maidens vs. Snyder Tigers

Lake View is 0-10 against Snyder since March of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Lake View Chiefs/Maidens will host the Snyder Tigers at 12:00 p.m. Lake View has given up an average of 7.1 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Lake View came up short against Greenwood on Thursday, falling 16-5.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Snyder, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past Permian 4-3.

Snyder's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-6. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Lake View, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7-1.

Lake View suffered a grim 15-4 defeat to Snyder when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can Lake View avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
