Basketball Recap: New Miami Takes a Loss

New Miami was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the Seven Hills Stingers 82-35. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 840th, while the Stingers are ranked 220th).

New Miami's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Seven Hills, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Miami will venture away from home to challenge St. Bernard-Elmwood Place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Seven Hills, they and Cincinnati Christian will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Seven Hills is facing Cincinnati Christian at the right time seeing as Cincinnati Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
