It was fun while it lasted, but Kearney's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Friday. They received a blow as they fell 59-44 to the Liberty Blue Jays. The loss was the Bulldogs' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Kearney fell to 3-1. As for Liberty, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Kearney will be home for the holidays to greet Grain Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Liberty, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 62-57 defeat against Parkway South on the 14th.
