Rylan Johns gave up the fewest walks he has since back in March on Tuesday. Nobody could stop him as he struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). He is becoming a predictor of Bridge Creek's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 3-1 (and 3-10 when he doesn't).

Coming up, Johns and Bridge Creek will welcome Cache at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Johns had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their match back in April of 2024 5-4.
