It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Fort Bend Hightower had no problem doing just that on Monday. They walked away with a 41-32 win over the Churchill Chargers. Winning may never get old, but the Hurricanes sure are getting used to it with their 23rd in a row.

Churchill lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Alexis Martens, who posted ten points. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Daphne Zuniga, who earned nine points.

Fort Bend Hightower's victory bumped their record up to 34-5. As for Churchill, they moved to 32-6 with that loss, which also ended their 19-game winning streak.

Coming up, Fort Bend Hightower will take on Boswell at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Boswell will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Fort Bend Hightower surely won't give up without a fight. Churchill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
