Baseball Recap: Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos vs. Del Campo Cougars
Twelve Bridges had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 12-15 to make it four. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Del Campo Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, with their most recent loss being a 5-3 defeat on Wednesday.
Colton Silva was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over 4.1 innings pitched.
As for Del Campo, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-12-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games.
