Softball Recap: American Fork Comes Up Short

American Fork lost against Skyridge back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cavemen fell 5-2 to the Falcons. The Cavemen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Andi Gardner and Sarah Jensen stepped up to the plate in a big way. Gardner scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4, while Jensen went a perfect 4-for-4 with one RBI. Miah Walters also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

American Fork's record now sits at 6-6. As for Skyridge, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-9.

Coming up, American Fork will take on Gunnison Valley in a tournament on Saturday. As for Skyridge, they will face off against Lehi at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
