Softball Recap: West St. John Takes a Loss

West St. John was the 26-2 winner over Independence when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams came up short against the Tigers on Monday, falling 40-20.

West St. John has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7-1 record this season. As for Independence, they moved to 3-12 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

West St. John wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 21-4 loss against White Castle on the 8th. As for Independence, they have also already played their next game, a 16-1 defeat against Hammond on the 9th.
