Football Recap: Pathfinder RVT Comes Up Short

It looks like Pathfinder RVT got the smaller half of the wishbone at Thanksgiving dinner. They fell just short of the Belchertown Orioles by a score of 17-14 on Thursday. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Coleman Longley was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 92 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Belchertown is 5-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise.

Pathfinder RVT's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 5-7. As for Belchertown, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Pathfinder RVT nor Belchertown have any future games scheduled.
