Basketball Recap: Posen Takes a Loss

Posen lost against Mio-Au Sable back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Posen Vikings took a 52-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mio-Au Sable Thunderbolts. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 442nd, while the Thunderbolts are ranked 160th).

Posen's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-6. As for Mio-Au Sable, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Posen will take on Hale at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Hale's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups. As for Mio-Au Sable, they will face off against Au Gres-Sims at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
