Ridgeland came tearing into Thursday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Warren Central Vikings 61-44. Given the Titans' advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Vikings are ranked 90th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Phil Nelson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 6 for 13 en route to 21 points in addition to six boards and four steals. Khameron Snow was another key player, putting up seven points and nine assists.

Ridgeland pushed their record up to 25-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Warren Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.

Ridgeland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 53-46 victory against Columbus on the 7th. Warren Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
