Football Recap: Temple Wildcats vs. Reagan Rattlers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Round Rock, Temple was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They managed a 19-14 win over the Reagan Rattlers.
Temple's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Christian Tutson, who picked up 115 receiving yards and a touchdown. Tutson got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 67 yards. Champ Mayo was another key player, having thrown for 292 yards and onetouchdown.
Temple's defense stepped up as well, laying out Jack Bingham. four times. In that department, Mikah Boldon was the leader with two sacks. Another thorn in Reagan's side was Adrian Scott, who picked up a sack and made eight total tackles (4.0 for loss).
