Basketball Game Preview: East Forsyth Broncos vs. Flowery Branch Falcons

The East Forsyth Broncos will head out to face off against the Flowery Branch Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Flowery Branch took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on East Forsyth, who comes in off a win.

While East Forsyth didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They breezed by Gilmer to the tune of 84-54 on Saturday. The Broncos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 81-35, which was the final score in Flowery Branch's tilt against North Oconee on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 330th, while the Titans are ranked 32nd).

East Forsyth moved to 8-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Flowery Branch, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
