Soccer Recap: Tuscola Comes Up Short

Tuscola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pisgah Bears. That's two games in a row now that Tuscola have lost by exactly two goals.

They hit Pisgah with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Stonewall Strickland, Ian Amsler, and Will Roberts.

Tuscola's loss dropped their record down to 3-14-1. As for Pisgah, their win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 9-7-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Tuscola is set to challenge their familiar foe Brevard at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Pisgah will face off against rival East Henderson at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
