Football Recap: Green Hope Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Green Hope was riding high fresh off their 27-0 takedown of Apex last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Green Hope was beaten by Jordan 48-14 on Friday. Green Hope was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-7.

Although Green Hope took the loss, they still got scores from Jack Slone and Ryder Schorzman.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jordan to victory, but perhaps none more so than Landon Melton, who threw for 185 yards and three TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. That's the most passing touchdowns Melton has posted since back in November of 2024. Damien Hayes was another key back, rushing for 85 yards and a pair of scores.

Green Hope's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Jordan, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Coincidentally, Green Hope and Jordan will both be playing Panther Creek the next time they take the field. Green Hope will head out to face Panther Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Jordan will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
