Basketball Game Recap: Plainwell vs. Thornapple Kellogg

The Thornapple Kellogg Trojans escaped with a win against the Plainwell Trojans by the margin of a single free throw, 58-57. Having pegged this as anyone's game, the MaxPreps rankings were right on the nose.

Thornapple Kellogg's win brought them up to 10-7. Plainwell's loss pushed them down to 13-5.

Thornapple Kellogg is staying on the road next week to face off against East Grand Rapids. Grand Rapids also got away with a close one in their previous game. Plainwell will be hunkering down at home again for their matchup against Covenant Christian on Tuesday. Plainwell will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
