The home team had won the previous three meetings between Northridge and Woods Cross, and Northridge kept the tradition alive. The Knights sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Wildcats on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Northridge also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Northridge now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Woods Cross, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northridge will face off against Roy at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Roy's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Woods Cross, they will square off against Bountiful at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bountiful will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Woods Cross surely won't give up without a fight.
