Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (65), the Mustangs still had to take the loss.

Lamar Consolidated lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kai Aitch, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds. Cordel Bonney was another key player, shooting 50% from the field on his way to 16 points.

Lamar Consolidated's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Almeta Crawford, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
