Baseball Preview: Piner Prospectors vs. Healdsburg Greyhounds
For the second straight game, Piner will face off against Healdsburg. The Prospectors will be playing at home against the Greyhounds at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
On Wednesday, Piner came up short against Healdsburg and fell 5-2. The Prospectors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
For Healdsburg's part, Eric Nielsen looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Nielsen has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
