Football Game Preview: Keystone Heights Indians vs. Bradford Tornadoes

Keystone Heights is 0-7 against Bradford since April of 2022 but things could change on Wednesday. The Indians will venture away from home to take on the Tornadoes at 6:00 p.m.

Keystone Heights heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Tuesday. They took a 20-6 bruising from Santa Fe.

Meanwhile, Bradford's rock-solid defense showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand Santa Fe a 14-0 shutout.

Keystone Heights better keep an eye on Arnayshia Griffin. She was instrumental in Bradford's win, throwing for 180 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Bradford didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Santa Fe to a completion percentage of just 40%. The Tornadoes weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 52.8%.

Bradford didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Griffin, Cherish Bing, and Rihanna Davis, who each picked up one interception apiece.

Bradford's record now sits at 12-2. As for Keystone Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.

Keystone Heights took a serious blow against Bradford in their previous matchup back in March, falling 45-12. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Griffin, who threw for 335 yards while picking up 11.6 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 60 yards and one TD on only eight carries. Now that the Indians know the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
