Marist dropped their record down to 35-3 on Monday, which also ended the team's six-game streak of wins. They fell 5-1 to the Oswego Panthers. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the RedHawks couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Oswego, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 36-2. Five seems to be a good number for they as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

For Oswego's part, Jaelynn Anthony spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on one hit and racked up six Ks. Anthony has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kiyah Chavez, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.

As of now, neither Marist nor Oswego have any future games scheduled.
