Basketball Recap: Illiana Christian's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Illiana Christian needed a changed in momentum after dropping five straight games and they got it from Noah Sons. The Illiana Christian Vikings came out on top against the Whitko Wildcats by a score of 48-41 on Friday thanks in part to Sons, who went 8 for 14 on his way to 20 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Illiana Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Whitko, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Bethany Christian the next time they take the court. Whitko will head out to face Bethany Christian at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, while Illiana Christian will play them later in the day, at 10:30 a.m.
