It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact West Orange can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Venice Indians on the road and fell 55-26. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 65th, while the Indians are ranked sixth).

Despite the loss, West Orange still got an impressive performance from Devonte Anderson, who picked up 162 receiving yards and two touchdowns. West Orange's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Venice, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-1.

West Orange does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Venice has also already played their next match, a 33-27 victory against Columbus on the 6th.
