Kennewick waltzed into their match on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They didn't even let the Walla Walla Blue Devils on the board, marking their second-straight 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won 11 contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

Kennewick pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Walla Walla, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
