Football Recap: Arroyo Has No Trouble Against Glenn

Arroyo not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 25, 2024 (when they won 46-8). Everything went their way against the Glenn Eagles as they made off with a 27-6 win. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Knights just coasted through the last quarter.

Angel Casillas was the offensive standout of the matchup as he threw for 224 yards and four TDs. Those four passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Arroyo also got a significant boost from Mark Muncie, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 88 yards.

Arroyo's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Glenn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arroyo will welcome Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 60 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Glenn, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pioneer at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th.
