Soccer Recap: Wasatch vs. Cedar Valley
Wasatch waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Cedar Valley Aviators onto the board and left with a 1-0 win. That's two games straight that the Wasps have won by just one goal.
Wasatch is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Cedar Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wasatch is on the road again on Tuesday to play Salem Hills at 7:00 p.m. Wasatch's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Cedar Valley, they will head out to square off against Springville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Springville will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Cedar Valley surely won't give up without a fight.
