Basketball Recap: Bibb County's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

Bibb County lost against Hillcrest back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bibb County Choctaws took a 67-53 bruising from the Hillcrest Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Choctaws can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 234th, while the Patriots are ranked 21st).

Bibb County's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-9. As for Hillcrest, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

Bibb County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 70-56 loss against Paul W. Bryant on the 30th. Hillcrest has also already played their next game (against Hale County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
