Ball came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were outmatched by the Friendswood Mustangs and fell 47-12. The Tornadoes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-0.

Several Tornadoes players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Juwaan Woodbury, who picked up 93 receiving yards and one score.

Ball didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Woodbury and Isaiah Washington. Another thorn in Friendswood's side was Cameron Thomas, who made 16 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Ball now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Friendswood, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ball will venture away from home to face off against Westside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
