Recap: Carlson Marauders vs. Anderson Titans
The Carlson Marauders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Anderson by a score of 53-51. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss Carlson has suffered yet this season.
Carlson lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Brendan Stanley, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds. Austin Saavedra was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Even though they lost, Carlson smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Carlson's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Anderson, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-6.
Carlson will head out on the road to face off against Lincoln Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
