Volleyball Recap: Laney Wildcats vs. Davidson Fine Arts Titans
Laney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Davidson Fine Arts Titans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture two weeks ago.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-6.
Laney's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Davidson Fine Arts, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-11 record this season.
Laney will square off against Glenn Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Davidson Fine Arts, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Josey at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
