After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Clear Springs, Clear Falls was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with an 8-5 victory over the Clear Brook Wolverines. The game was the first time the Knights have beaten the Wolverines on their field since March 9, 2021.

R Holsinger was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. What's more, she posted two doubles, the most she's had since back in February.

In other batting news, J Rivera was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was A Martinez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Clear Falls' win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Clear Brook, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

As for Clear Brook, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clear Lake at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Clear Lake's pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so Clear Brook's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
