Basketball Game Preview: American Fork Cavemen vs. Westlake Thunder

The American Fork Cavemen will take on the Westlake Thunder at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Friday, American Fork was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 50-46 to Lone Peak. The Cavemen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Westlake came up short against Pleasant Grove on Friday and fell 84-71. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (60), the Thunder still had to take the loss.

American Fork's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Westlake, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-7 record this season.
