Softball Recap: San Luis Comes Up Short

After flying high against Yuma two weeks ago, San Luis came back down to earth. The Sidewinders lost 14-3 to the Kofa Kings on Tuesday. The Sidewinders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Kings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

San Luis has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Kofa, they moved to 4-11 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Kings beat San Luis by a score of 13-0 on Thursday.
