Basketball Recap: Syracuse Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

After losing to Plattsmouth the last time they met, Syracuse decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Syracuse Rockets walked away with a 68-55 win over the Plattsmouth Blue Devils on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rockets.

Plattsmouth lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Traceson Skalberg, who went 8 for 19 en route to 18 points and six steals. Those six steals gave Skalberg a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Derek Nanke, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 15 rebounds.
