Wakeland came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the McKinney Lions as they made off with a 10-0 victory. The Wolverines have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.
Kayla Courcy made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only a hit over six innings pitched.
