Basketball Recap: Colerain Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Colerain can now relate to. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 57-16 to Mount Notre Dame, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with Mount Notre Dame recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Colerain's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Mount Notre Dame, the win was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-2.

Colerain does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mount Notre Dame, they will face off against Walnut Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Mount Notre Dame's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.
