Soccer Recap: Rush-Henrietta Comes Up Short

Rush-Henrietta lost against Fairport on October 8th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Royal Comets fell just short of the Red Raiders by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Rush-Henrietta can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 216th, while Fairport are ranked eighth).

Rush-Henrietta has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11-1 record this season. As for Fairport, their victory bumped their record up to 15-0.

Rush-Henrietta does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fairport, they will take on McQuaid Jesuit in a tournament on Tuesday.
