Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marbury). They were the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over the Booker T. Washington Magnet Yellow Jackets on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bulldogs needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Marbury's victory bumped their record up to 4-2-3. As for Booker T. Washington Magnet, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Coming up, Marbury will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Tallassee at 7:00 p.m. Booker T. Washington Magnet will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Alabama Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th. Booker T. Washington Magnet has given up an average of 6 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
