High school football highlights: New Ohio State commit Emeka Egbuka's top 10 plays

Nation's No. 1 pass-catching prospect chooses Buckeyes over Oklahoma, Washington.

Emeka Egbuka of Steilacoom (Wash.), high school football's No. 1-rated wide receiver prospect according to 247Sports, announced Friday night that he is headed to Ohio State. The talented pass-catcher chose the Buckeyes over Oklahoma and Washington.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Egbuka joins the nation's No. 2 recruiting class that already includes fellow five-star prospects TreVeyon Henderson, Donovan Jackson, Kyle McCord and Jack Sawyer.

As a junior, Egbuka led Steilacoom to Washington's Class 2A state championship game, hauling in 65 passes for 1,427 yards and 22 touchdowns in 14 games. Defensively, he tallied nearly 40 tackles and picked off eight passes.
Egbuka's sophomore year wasn't too bad either with 72 receptions for 1,492 yards and 23 touchdowns. His career totals stand at 181 catches for 3,727 yards and 58 scores.

According to 247Sports, Egbuka is the No. 8 overall prospect in the Class of 2021.
