 Copper Hills lost against Herriman back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Thursday. The Copper Hills Grizzlies suffered a  tough 14-3 loss at the hands of the Herriman Mustangs. The  defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Copper Hills in their matchups with Herriman: they've now lost three in a row.
 Copper Hills saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Anslie Yazzie, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 On Herriman's side, they got a  massive  performance out of  McKenzie Quintero, who  scored four  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kinlee McDermaid, who  went 3-for-4 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and a  double.
 Copper Hills' loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Herriman, the  win was  the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Copper Hills will take on American Fork at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday. American Fork is coming into the  match with three straight  defeats on the road,  meaning Copper Hills will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  victory. As for Herriman, they will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Skyridge at 3:30  p.m.  on April 2nd.
