While Palmetto Ridge put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Lely. Everything went the Palmetto Ridge Bears' way against the Lely Trojans as the Palmetto Ridge Bears made off with a 10-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Bears sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Bryce Obrian tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Omar Rosado, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Herrera, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Palmetto Ridge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lely only posted an OBP of .167.
