Soccer Recap: Windsor Gets the Win

While Windsor's victory against Fort Collins wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wizards skirted past the Lambkins 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Windsor were the better team in the second half.

Rylinn Barnhardt and Braely Martinez scored both of Windsor's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Windsor has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those five games. As for Fort Collins, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windsor will square off against Thompson Valley at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Fort Collins, they will face off against Rocky Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
