After flying high against Prairie last Saturday, Sedgwick County came back down to earth. Sedgwick County came up short against the Akron Rams on Tuesday, falling 23-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Cougars were not able to get on the board.

Having lost for the first time this season, Sedgwick County fell to 4-1. As for Akron, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Akron beat Sedgwick County by a score of 17-0 later that day.
