It was a good run, but Bayshore Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Luke's Episcopal Wildcats. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 9-0.

Bayshore Christian's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 12-12. As for St. Luke's Episcopal, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

While Bayshore Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
